The World of Glass

The World of Glass is a stylish, purpose-built, award winning Visitor Centre incorporating three conference & meeting room facilities. The attraction is an ideal venue for, conferences, cocktail receptions, dinners & exhibitions.

For evening functions, use of all or part of the Museum & Visitor Centre is available as an option.

The Reflections Gallery has a full audio visual system & can seat up to 200 delegates theatre style or 150 banquet style. This exhibition gallery houses a state of the art audio-visual system which includes a ceiling mounted video projector with a large 3m screen & a surround sound system.

The Sankey Suite is a purpose-built meeting room located on the first floor Mezzanine with capacity for 120 theatre style or 80 banquet style.

The Hotties Meeting Room is a small meeting room or training room located on the first floor Mezzanine with a capacity for 20 theatre style or 14 boardroom style (Not available for evening functions).

The Kaleidoscope Café is also available for evening functions. Situated in the spectacular glass pavilion, the Café overlooks the Sankey Canal and has a capcity of 120 banquet style.

A range of equipment is available for corporate customers, including digital projector, auto slide projector, video projector,overhead projector, monitor, screens & flip chart stands. There is a charge for the use of the equipment, it must be booked in advance to ensure availability.

Museum tours and live glass blowing demonstrations can also be incorporated into events.
