St.Helens' largest park spans over 700 acres of beautiful natural parkland and open woodland, with formal gardens and a lake, as well as a pets corners and children's play area. There are also well - kept playing fields and one of the best municipal 18 hole golf courses and driving ranges in the Northwest.
St Helens has over 720 hectares of Public Parks and Countryside Areas which includes Victorian Parks, Playing Fields, Woodlands, Greenways, Water Bodies, Local Nature Reserves, a Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI), Allotments and incidental open space.
Road Directions
From St.Helens town centre, take the A570 Linkway to Sherdley Park.
From the M62, exit at junction 7 and take the A570 Linkway north towards Sherdley Park.
