Situated in the heart of St.Helens town centre, The Citadel is not just an arts venue but also a tourism destination.

Providing a wide spectrum of arts activities; live theatre, comedy, film, dance, fine art, family friendly events in addition to our renowned music programme.

The Citadel aims to showcase local, regional, national and international talent together, providing all audiences with an innovative and contemporary arts experience shaped by, and going beyond, the unique building that houses us and the community we serve.

Road Directions

From Junction 7 of the M62 follow the signs for St. Helens town centre. From Junction 23 of the M6 join the A580 towards Liverpool and follow the signs for St. Helens town centre.
