New Art Gallery at The Lavender Farm

Be inspired and visit the latest gallery in the Borough, the Boonric Art Gallery at Lavender Farm

Joanne Boon Thomas, artist and tutor, and Eric Fleming (EricG) a retired illustrator have joined forces to refurbish a portion of the main barn space at Lavender Farm into 'The BoonRic Gallery' - an idyllic space for a relaxing viewing or to purchase a special gift for someone special.
The BoonRic Gallery is a part of artbyboon.

Inspired by the regular, local PassionArt group summer exhibitions at the Farm, Joanne and Eric decided to create a more permanent space to display their artworks and those of local artists and art groups

Joanne is a popular local professional artist who tutors and demonstrates on a regular basis throughout the North West as well as Cheddar, The NEC, Sardinia and Corsica. An established North West Art supplier, who distributes her work nationwide, has also accepted her work.

Eric is now retired with over 30 years experience in graphics and illustration and now paints for his own pleasure.

Watercolour Workshops

Early in 2011 Joanne will be holding watercolour workshops at the gallery for various skill levels of art enthusiast – beginners and intermediate classes. The first two are scheduled for

On occasion they intend to offer other local artists/sculptors/crafters a short term residency where they can be seen working in the gallery on their current projects.

Lavender Farm has a country atmosphere with cockerels, hens and ducks, some of them rare breeds, occupying the courtyards and surrounding colourful and lavender fragranced fields. The farm is also an excellent starting point for many country walks with tea and scones to welcome you back.

Other crafters have taken the opportunity to follow suit and will be opening up new attractions at the farm to stand along side the established Tea Rooms & Restaurant, the Aromatherapy & Essential Oils shop, The Country Shack Fruit and Vegetable shop as well as RE-NU, the well established Beauty, Aromatherapy Massage studio.
