New regional craft market launched in St.Helens

Fir Tree Farm will come alive with their new Craft Market on Sunday 4th April 2010.

The popular tourism attraction in Pimbo Road, King Moss, St.Helens will feature a wide selection of unique handmade crafts and one-of-a-kind creations where visitors will find everything from the unusual to the unique sure to fit every taste and budget. Shoppers will find dazzling handbags, beautiful handmade jewellery, gorgeous handmade soaps, lovely moneyboxes, birdhouses and so much more.

The Craft Market will take place from 11.00 a.m – 3.00pm on Sunday 4th April 2010 and follows the hugely successful monthly Farmers Market at the Farm. The next Farmers Market is on Saturday 17th April 2010.

All visitors will be tempted to visit the fantastic Fir Tree Farm Shop and Seasons Café & Restaurant, which sells local and regional produce and offers a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

Fir Tree Farm includes beautiful woodland walks, which features chain saw sculptures, a willow tunnel and a wildlife pond. The Farm is a 35-hectare family farm run by Alan and Edwina Abbott who as their main philosophy, place an emphasis on conservation and the environment. The farm itself has a long history, the farmhouse itself dating back to 1704 and thus being granted Grade II listing. Built from local sandstone it is a traditional Lancashire farmhouse and features in several architectural guides.
