Kyle kicks off tourism campaign

 Saints and England International star, Kyle Eastmond has been tackling a challenge of a different kind, helping to promote the Borough’s day visitor campaign to residents in the Northwest. Kyle joined the design team at Palfrey Greer to put the finishing touches to the Discover your Doorstep! campaign adverts and banners that will adorn key locations across the region. As a star of one of the adverts, Kyle was asked to put his finishing touches to the artworks.

The Discover your Doorstep! campaign aims to encourage residents and day visitors, within a 90-minute drive time, to explore the wealth of tourism attractions and events in St.Helens. It has gained the full support of the Borough’s Tourism and Leisure Business Network to raise the Town’s profile and highlight the variety of cultural, leisure and sporting events and activities on offer across the Borough.

The campaign involves stunning imagery and simple messaging, albeit with different emphases, to showcase the full range of our fantastic assets – from the well-known attractions and glorious sports, such as Haydock Park Racecourse, Saints and The World of Glass and events, including the International Art Festival, to the hidden gems such as Darkstar, Fir Tree Farm, and Powerboat Racing at Carr Mill Dam.

Saints star Kyle, stated: “I was happy to help promote the campaign and encourage visitors to St.Helens, either to watch great rugby at the GPW Recruitment Stadium or enjoy different pursuits at the variety of interesting attractions across the Borough.”
