Situated on the arterial A580 East Lancashire Road and at the heart of the Region’s motorway network, St.Helens enjoys rapid and easy access from the M6 (Junctions 21a, 22, 23 and 24), The M62 (Junction 7 and the Town Centre Linkway), the M57 (Junctions 2 and 4), the M58 (Junction 3 and the A570 Rainford Bypass), and from the M53 and M56 via Runcorn Bridge and the A557 Expressway. 

By Rail/ Public Transport

St.Helens benefits from excellent bus links to Liverpool City Centre, as well as direct train services to and from Liverpool, Manchester and Wigan.

St.Helens Town Centre is less than 15 miles and 25 minutes drive (via the M57 and A58, or M62 and A570 Linkway) from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, one of the fastest growing in Europe and named as the nation’s best airport at the prestigious 2007 Travel Trade Gazette Awards.

Manchester International Airport

St.Helens is only 27 miles and less than 35 minutes drive (via the M56 and the M6 or M62) from Manchester International Airport, the 3rd largest in the UK and the region’s primary domestic and international gateway by air.
