Enjoy a fun day out for all the family, watching the annual charity Dragon Boat Regatta at Carr Mill Dam and delight in an exciting day as competitors vie for the winning trophy on Saturday 21st August 2010.

Come along and experience a different family day out and perhaps even enjoy a leisurely stroll around the lake.

Free for visitors to watch the racing and there is excellent viewing from any position around the lake.

Road Directions

At the junction of the A580 (East Lancs Road) and the A571, turn at the traffic lights onto the A571 heading towards Billinge. Within 100m, turn immediatly first right into Garswood Old Road. Pass by the Premier Travel Inn on your left and in front of the Waterside pub passing between the pub and car park. Follow the lane round the lake until you arrive at the entrance to the club grounds. Parking is available in the meadow just outside the gate to the club grounds and additional parking is available past the Club house.
